Our second release of Zingy, 100% Sauvignon Blanc, was coldly, slowly, patiently ferment in stainless steel to preserve and showcase the pure essence of our flagship grape.  The golden-green clusters were once again the first harvest from the vineyard, picked by hand in the early morning of October 1st, then whole cluster pressed to a small tank where the juice slowly became wine over a three week period. Bottled early in the new year, Zingy offers our first peek of last year’s small but magnificent harvest. 

A pale flaxen gold with bright sunny highlights gleams from the glass. A swirl produces a bouquet of white floral aromas – honeysuckle and lime blossoms.  On the palate, quince and apricot flavors mingle with lemon-lime, red apple and a slate-like minerality. Layers of tropical nuances unravel as the wine breathes.

Beautifully balanced, lively and bright, Zingy is superb with seafood.  Try it with crab quesadillas served with guacamole.
