Opus One 2010 (84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5.5% Cabernet Franc, 5.5% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec), Napa Valley, California Wine, 750ml
The 2010 vintage will be remembered as a uniquely demanding year with unseasonably cold days, untimely rain fall, and surprisingly hot days. Having left a sufficient number of leaves on the vines, our grapes avoided sunburn from late season heat assuring the success of the vintage. Harvest began on September 23 and concluded on October 23.

Pierre Gimonnet 2005 Champagne 'Special Club', Champagne, French Wine, 750 ml
Special Club is a group of grower-producers striving to create site-driven expressions of Champagne, only allowing the greatest works of each producer to receive the Special Club designation. Pierre Gimmonet is one of their star members, crafting finely detailed, mineral renditions of Chardonnay from the Cote des Blancs. His 2005 comes mostly from the Grand Cru villages of Cramant and Chouilly, along with some 1er cru fruit from the village of Cuis. Notes of Granny Smith apple, Comice pear, and lemon verbena are layered across a frame of chalky minerality. The powerful 2005 vintage is one of great structure and weight, and should age beautifully.
