This wine has the typical and correct medium color of Pinot. The aroma has an intense blackberry note with a bit of forest floor and herbal tones under. The palate is soft and full. If anything it delivers more than the nose promises. In spite of its plushness, there is a tension between the tannin and acidity that promises happy marriages with cuisine.
