Sine Qua Non 2008, Vin de Paille Roussanne, California Wine, (750 ml), (375 ml)
96 Points Robert Parker!
pure nectar of honeyed marmalade, waxy, syrupy honeysuckle, exotic creme brulee, and citrus. The remarkable acidity cuts through the extraordinary sweetness, so the impression is fresh and vibrant. Krankl has pulled off a marvelous balancing act with this cuvee. How long will it last? I have no idea - maybe 50-100 years, but given the fact there are only 235 cases of half bottles, most of it will be consumed before 2020."

Sine Qua Non 2010,"The Monkey", California Wine, (750ml)
The 2010 White Wine The Monkey captures a nice stylistic middle ground between the richer, creamier style typical of the Sine Qua Non whites and the brighter minerality of years like 2011. Tangerine, mint, honeysuckle, truffles and honey wrap around the expansive, creamy finish.

Star Lane 2007, Estate Red, Happy Canyon, California Wine, 750ml
The 2007 vintage gave us a lot to celebrate at Star Lane Vineyard. The vintage marks the 10th anniversary of the vineyard and it is our first vintage to be released following the designation of the new “Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara” appellation, which has been recognized for its potential to make exceptional Bordeaux varietals. In addition, the 2007 vintage provided ideal growing conditions. These conditions, combined with our increasing understanding of the unique characteristics of the site, have resulted in the most complete wine we have made from the vineyard.

Stolpman 2009, Roussanne, 'L'Avion', Santa Ynez Valley, California Wine, 750ml
Honeycomb, jasmine tea, asian pear and freshly ground nutmeg erupt from the glass. The texture of the wine is nothing but hedonistic: A saturated, oily mid-palate is followed by a focused mineral finish that lingers in the olfactory senses for a full minute. Lay down for up to 7 years. 970 cases produced.

Stolpman 2010 Syrah, estate grown Santa Ynez Valley 750ml
Deep purple color. Piercingly pure aromas of dark plum, red fruits and black cherry, lightly infused with sweet herbs. Rich and concentrated on the attack, packed with juicy red fruits, sleek and polished. The finish is magical. Plenty of tannins, but of superb refinement, marvelously bracketing the terrific opulence of the vintage. Long and persistent.
