Billecart Salmon NV, Brut Rose, Champagne, (750 ml)
92 Points - International Wine Cellar - ONLY 13 BOTTLES AVAILABLE!
This is THE Brut Rose, no question about it. Rare, dignified and the ultimate in sparkling wine, this non-vintage rose is as delicious as it is hard to come by. Tangerine, pear and flowers on the nose, which is complicated by a note of fennel. Broad and sappy but dry, with lively orange and strawberry flavors and a subtle note of spice cake. Weightier on the finish, which features an exotic note of spicy herbs. This Champagne’s delicate touch will make it work well with simple seafood dishes or even sashimi.

Cold Heaven 2010, Viognier, Le Bon Climat Vineyard, Santa Barbara County, California Wine, 750ml
The 2010 Cold Heaven Cellars Viognier from the Le Bon Climat Vineyard is a perfect smash between Old World and New World wines. The sandy and clay loam soils of the Le Bon Climat Vineyard, paired with the unique micro-climate in where the vineyard sits, proves to create a powerful and balanced Viognier. With perfume notes of citrus, ginger, honey, and flowers, before your first sip, you are already entirely drawn in. On the palate, lively pit fruit jumps out front, which helps to bring out a minerality in the wine. Followed by a slight salinity and a slow mounting spiciness. All leading to a mouth watering finish, showing true clarity and persistence!

Eric Texier 2011 Roussanne, Brezeme, Cotes-du-Rhone
Biodynamic. Primary notes of fresh Anjou pear, baked apple, and orange blossom transition into more secondary, vinous notes of wet stone, beeswax, and lanolin. This is stellar now, with lively acidity that makes this incredibly food friendly, but it will really shine with some short-term bottle age.

Muga 2011, Rioja Rosado, Rioja, Spain, 750ml
90 pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, August 2012
The 2011 Muga Rose is a blend of around 60% Garnacha, 30% Viura and 10% “other” varieties and Jorge Muga was at pains to point out that the vines are specifically cultivated for the rose and not the bi-product of another red. It has a delightful light rose petal and orange blossom bouquet that has great definition and subtlety. The palate is fresh and very well-balanced with crisp citrus fruit inflected with apricot, rosewater and white peach. This is one of the finest Rioja rose wines you will find.
