Muga 2011, Rioja Rosado, Rioja, Spain, 750ml
90 pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, August 2012
The 2011 Muga Rose is a blend of around 60% Garnacha, 30% Viura and 10% “other” varieties and Jorge Muga was at pains to point out that the vines are specifically cultivated for the rose and not the bi-product of another red. It has a delightful light rose petal and orange blossom bouquet that has great definition and subtlety. The palate is fresh and very well-balanced with crisp citrus fruit inflected with apricot, rosewater and white peach. This is one of the finest Rioja rose wines you will find.

Vincent Careme 2008 Vouvray Sec, French Wine, 375 ml
Sweetish white fruit, almost candy-like, some honey and floral notes as well. Dry, light and crispy. Quince, pomelo and pear, nice minerality and bitterness in the aftertaste. pleasantly refreshing.

Botani 2009, Moscatel, Malaga, Spain, (750 ml)
- 91 Pts Jay Miller - The Wine Advocate
Medium straw-colored with a green tint, it displays a nose of mineral, spring flowers, acacia, and a hint of tropical aromas. The 2009 vintage has produced a wine with extra density and concentration. Although the aromatics suggest sweetness, the wine is dry but very fruity, refreshing, and exceptionally long. It is an outstanding value that over-delivers in a big way."

Germano 2010, Chardonnay, Langhe, Piemonte, Italian Wine, 750ml
In a region known for Barolo it's surprising to find chardonnay. With a tiny plot of chardonnay, Germano is fermenting in stainless steel tanks but still producing a wine with tarragon and orange-like aromas and a creamy texture due to malolactic fermentation.

Leitz 2010, Riesling, Spatlese, Rudesheimer Magdalenenkreuz, Rheingau, 750ml
90 Points Wine Spectator
This is my favorite Riesling in the world, and has been for about 4 vintages. A perfect combination of sweetness and acidity, this is a vino mojito if I have ever seen one. Lots of bright tropical flavors like pineapple and kaffir lime (that’s the kind of lime they put on your Pad Thai) with just a hint of flint and mint (apparently wine and poetry do mix).
