A smooth, polished texture unfolds with seamless flavors of plum, wildberry, black cherry and toasty caramel. Notes of mineral and clove linger on a long, integrated finish.

Heloise is a blend of 65% Syrah 30% Grenache 5% Viognier and is Deep ruby/purple color to the rim. Aromas are rich, concentrated and focused with black fruit, smoke and pepper, delivering cedar and spice. This is a powerful wine, yet well balanced and structured with fine velvet tannins on the palate. The ripe Grenache element gives glimpses of red fruits along side the dark flavors of the Syrah. The finish is rich and lengthy from the 11 months of new french oak aging. Ageing potential 7-10 years.

Chene Bleu 2006 'Abelard', (80% Grenache, 20% Syrah), Rhone Valley, France, 750ml
Abelard is a blend of 80% Grenache 20% Syrah which gives a beautiful deep ruby color. On the nose Abélard’s rich brooding character lifts from the glass, showing ripe blackberry, Herbs de province with more floral notes and liquorice. The palate gives intense and concentrated layered fruit (blackberry and Cherry) and plenty of spice. The fine grained tannin add welcomed structure. Elegant and powerful, with a masculine profile.
