The 2007 Novy Stolpman Vineyard Nebbiolo shows a cherry, smoky richness up front with hints of earth and tar in the mid-palate and good, rich tannins and excellent natural acidity. A combina- tion of both the New World in its fruit and the Old World in its structure, this is a superb wine for a leg of lamb on a cold winter’s evening.
